This popular traditional cream cheese from the Middle East is made from strained yogurt. It has a tangy flavour with a soft and creamy texture.
At Mamoosh we craft our Labneh using traditional methods. It is flavoured with authentic dried herbs and spices then packed in extra virgin olive oil.
Ingredients
Yogurt (milk), extra virgin oliver oil, lemon, salt, sumac, za'atar, sesame seeds, thyme, oregano, parsley (allergens in bold).
May contain traces of egg, soya, pistachio, walnuts, pecan nuts, sulphite, wheat, celery.
Free from additives and preservatives.
The product is vegetarian in nature but made on premises that handles meat.

Storage
Keep refrigerated below 5 degrees celsius. Once open, consume within 24 hours.
Usage
Labneh spreads well on to pittas, crackers and pitta chips. Labneh is sometimes part of a breakfast in the Middle East. It is also served as a cooling accompaniment to spicy foods such as fried green chillies.
