Discover Mamoosh Riverside, our relaxed café, deli and takeaway on the banks of the River Ouse at the historic Marine Workshops in Newhaven. Overlooking the harbour, with seating inside and out, it's a lovely place to meet for coffee, enjoy breakfast or lunch, or simply sit by the river and watch the world go by.

Drop in for freshly ground artisan coffee and choose from our tempting selection of savoury pastries, freshly prepared salads, homemade soups, quiches and Middle Eastern-inspired lunches - even on a Sunday.
There's always something sweet on the counter too, from cakes and pastries to baklava and our much-loved almond croissants — perfect with a coffee by the river or to take away for later.

Riverside is also the perfect place to stock up on Mamoosh favourites to enjoy at home. Pick up our freshly baked artisan pittas alongside creamy hummus, colourful Middle Eastern dips and salads, savouries and other treats from the Mamoosh kitchen.
We also stock a selection of freshly baked breads from Real Patisserie.
Put together a selection for an easy lunch or supper with family and friends, or simply call in for a bag of fresh pittas to take home.

There's more to Riverside than stopping for a coffee. Take a stroll along the river, enjoy lunch overlooking Newhaven Harbour and explore the galleries and creative spaces at the Marine Workshops next door.

Follow the riverside walkway to the right of the Railway Club and you'll find us at the end of the building.
Opening hours
Tuesday–Saturday: 7am–4pm
Sunday: 9am–3pm
Closed Mondays, including Bank Holiday Mondays.
If the car park is busy, there are 3 car parks in town, less than 10 minutes walk away. If you have a blue card, there are 3 disabled spaces on the right of the car park as you drive in, opposite the Sidings entrance.
